The DaVinci Experience Afterschool Programs meet once a week for 5 sessions and explore one theme in depth.

Wacky Weather

Date: 5 consecutive Wednesdays; October 3-31st., 2007
Time: 3:15- 4:15 PM
Grades: 1-4
Location: Pond Cove Elementary School
Fee for service: $54.00 for Cape Elizabeth residents. $59.00 if you are not a resident of Cape Elizabeth.
Instructor: Megan Dubois. You might remember Megan, she was our teacher at South Portland for the Sr. Space Station Vacation Summer Camp.

What we'll do: Learn to predict weather by the clouds. make a rain storm in a bowl. Explore wind direction and make your own rain gauge. Play weather games and learn how meterologists predict weather. We'll build weather equipment such as anemometers and barometers so you can have your own weather station to take home!
